How do I sign up?

Select a digital mailbox plan. Then provide your address and payment information. We make it easy to upload your Form 1583 (required by the USPS), and the two necessary forms ID needed to begin using your new address.

Where does my mail go?

All mail and packages are received, stored and processed at the address you choose when you sign up. You must, of course, inform your senders of your new address and/or file a Temporary Change of Address form with your local post office. Most locations are professional retail pack and ship stores or business coworking centers in professional office buildings. All our locations are approved by the USPS as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA).

Can I pick up my mail?

Yes. For the best service, we recommend that you log in to the app to schedule a pickup. You may pick up mail at your address location during business hours. Some locations charge a small fee for pick up.

When can you start accepting mail or packages for me?

Your Mail Center will begin to accept your mail or packages upon receiving and approving your completed USPS required documentation. Prior to this time your mail and packages are subject to be returned to sender in accordance with USPS guidelines.

Do you receive mail and packages from all couriers?

Yes, we accept deliveries from USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and any other shipping company. Our locations are open during regular business hours.

What is the difference between the Mailing Address plan and the Business Address plan?

Both plans currently provide the same services at the same cost. You may add a business name to either plan. We are looking to add new business service options to the Virtual Business Address plans in the future.

Can I use this address to register my business, get a driver's license, or get insurance?

Yes, we have had thousands of customers who have used our service to register their businesses or for their DMV needs. However, in Oregon, Missouri, Washington State, and California, we suggest that you check with government agencies to determine what you can or cannot do with your virtual address.

Can I add my family members?

Yes, you can add your family to your account. A family member may be included, along with two ID’s, when you file your USPS Form 1583. To add a member later, you will need send in another notarized Form 1583 and a copy of two forms of ID. Once this is done, we will be able to add your member’s name to your account. You may have up to five names on a personal account.

Can I have more than one business with my mailbox?

No. The USPS only allows one business name per mailbox account.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, Connect Mailbox staff will forward your mail to you internationally without any issues. There may be taxes or duty fees involved depending on the contents being shipped.

What is the difference between (shredding) and (recycling)?

Our staff will fulfill your order upon demand. We recycle all mail that is disposed of to minimize environmental impact. If you have any documents containing sensitive information that you wish to discard, we offer shredding as an additional option to ensure proper disposal.

How long is my virtual mail stored?

As long as your account remains active. This means that you can keep your virtual mail with us for as long as you need it.

What happens to my mail after I cancel my virtual mailbox?

Mail received will be stored for up to 3 months from the date of termination, and storage fees may apply. If you wish to have your mail forwarded, additional fees for that service will apply.
